Bank DKI - Korea Teams Up to Optimize Digital Payment Business Performance

Bank DKI cooperates with the largest payment system company in Korea, BC Card Asia Pacific, in terms of implementing a retail payment system in the form of Acquiring services.

This is also in line with the digitalization transformation momentum that has been carried out by the Company since 2021

This collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by Technology and Operations Director for Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, and BC Card Asia Pacific CEO, Hong Seok Man in Jakarta on Tuesday (3/7). The signing was also witnessed by Regional Financial Services Authority 1 Jakarta and Banten Head, Roberto Akyuwen; MJL CEO, Myoung Jun Lee; and BC Card Korea CEO, Choi Wonseok.

Technology and Operations Director for Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono said the collaboration is in the context of expanding collaboration as an effort to optimize digital business performance. He appreciates the cooperation that has existed between Bank DKI and BC Card Asia Pacific and hopes to provide positive benefits for both parties.

He assessed this collaboration as an adaptive step for Bank DKI which aims to expand the convenience of banking services and accelerate financial inclusion through a reliable digital payment ecosystem.

"This is also in line with the digitalization transformation momentum that has been carried out by the Company since 2021," he expressed, Wednesday (3/8).

BC Card Korea CEO, Choi Wonseok gave a positive view of the strategic cooperation that was established. Bank DKI has consistently positive characteristics and business achievements.

"Bank DKI is one of the potential strategic business partners to collaborate and continue to develop together," he said.

Bank DKI Secretary, Arie Rinaldi revealed this collaboration confirms Bank DKI's commitment to innovate and expand collaboration to increase the competitiveness of products and services.

He explained Bank DKI keeps providing qualified digital services through various collaborations, including developing cross-border collaboration services for overseas payments, and collaboration on the use of cloud computing technology to strengthen digital banking services and ecosystems.

"Lastly, Bank DKI has successfully collaborated with Bank BCA and the PRIMA network to utilize Cardless Cash Deposit and Withdrawal services at BCA ATM networks, Bank BNI ATMs, and CIMB Niaga with the PRIMA network logo spread throughout the archipelago," he said.

Along with the implementation of the 5.0 Transformation Program, Bank DKI is increasingly adaptive in presenting digital banking solutions that are more personal, mobile, and reliable through the New JakOne Mobile application which comes with a more attractive appearance, user friendly, and more complete features.

"Starting from paying various bills and shopping online, scanning transactions with QRIS, topping up electronic money balances, giving alms and donations, paying taxes and levies, to securing emergency funds through opening deposits and opening savings accounts online," he explained.

In terms of non-cash transaction services using cards, Bank DKI continues to expand the acceptance of JakCard which functions as an electronic money card in various modes of transportation, entrance tickets to several museums, to transactions at various merchants that work with Bank DKI.

As for the information, the Acquiring service system is a form of service that facilitates payment using a card (APMK) both debit and credit cards in daily payment activities.
